Where Are the Grownups at Temple University?

I earned my MBA at Temple University in 1979, and all seemed to be reasonably well at the time.

But in the last few weeks we have seen the Temple President fire the Provost — only to have the Board turn around and fire the President after just three years on the job.

How in the world can a Board of Trustees so badly mishandle the selection of their university President?
