MY EXPERIENCE

Corporate Experience

For close to thirty years, I was employed at senior levels in the global chemical businesses of FMC Corporation.

My career included positions in sales, marketing, manufacturing, logistics and purchasing, and spanned the entire breadth of FMC’s industrial, agricultural and specialty chemical businesses.

These roles with FMC were international in scope, and included developing and maintaining extensive business partnerships with customers and suppliers throughout North America, Europe and Asia.

Academic Experience

As a member of the faculty and staff of Ursinus College for thirteen years, I taught courses in international business, management and marketing, in addition to special topics courses and work in academic development. My administrative functions at the College included support for admissions as well as community relations.

Arbitration Experience

As an Arbitrator, I served for a number of years on the Commercial Panel for the American Arbitration Association, dealing primarily with contract dispute resolution.

Writing Experience

Working in both the corporate and academic environments, well-written communications have been a necessity. For that reason, I have always placed a priority on purpose, organization and clarity in my written communications. This extends now to my work as a freelance writer.
