1.) Treat the acquisition of new skills and knowledge more important than increase in salary compensation. The more skills and abilities you have the more valuable you are to any enterprise.
2.) Money does not precede accomplishments, it is recognition for actual accomplishments. If you believe that you need increases in compensation before increasing your performance, you will suffer a life of disappointments.
3.) I saw numerous workers who believed that once they had their degree or advance degree, their success was guaranteed. This attitude proved to be a significant restraint for their career success,
